Nobody goes out of a party without hang-over, joins a ride without friends, leaves a moment without photographs. Everything has it’s own complements. Like this, not a single tourist will dare to exit Hong Kong without visiting the magical feeling of Disneyland. Scroll down as you share with me the one of a kind experience in HK Disneyland.

Let’s just say, I waited for this moment that’s why I make it to a point that I will really get the vibe of being one of them, the reason why I wore my Mickey Mouse inspired shirt from Uniqlo’s collections that day.

Hong Kong Disneyland (click the link for park details and more. Be sure to check their calendar because some attractions and shows varies from time to time.) is located at Lantau Island, Hong Kong. Accessible via every transportation. It’s pretty advisable to arrive in the park way earlier than their opening time at 10am. Expect long queues in the ticket booths that costs around 500HKD. There’s nothing to worry if you arrived too early, in fact, it’s more advantageous so that you will have plenty of time taking photographs and roaming around the entrance of the park.

And the benefits of arriving early? Perfect! You will get a chance to have photographs with Mickey and Minnie Mouse without suffering from longer queues. It just took us an hour to reach the end line. Yes to that!

It is really amazing once you get inside the park. Everything is so beautiful. The energy is so fantastic. You can never imagine that place like that do exist. It’s fantasy!

One of the many things that you can do inside the park is to have photographs with every Disney character. From Mickey and Minnie up to Goofy and Pluto. From different Disney princesses up to Olaf and more. And if you have enough of your photo collections, it’s time for you to try their child friendly rides.

Like Ocean Park, Disneyland is way too big to experience the totality of it. There are seven parks to choose from: Mystic Point, Grizzly Gulch, Toy Story Land, Fantasy Land, Tomorrowland, Adventureland and the Mainstreet USA.  Sad to say, we don’t manage to explore every parks due to time constraints. Or should I say, we just spare it for the next visit? Why not! Nonetheless, we manage to watch some stage plays like the Golden Mickey at Tomorrowland. And I tell you, the show was really superb! The production is extremely perfect. Actually, we do have a full video of the show but of course I won’t share it here. You need to see it by yourself. We also manage to enjoy at full swing almost every ride of fantasy land where you can see upclose the castle of Sleeping Beauty. We also watched a 3D show at Mickey’s Philhar Magic. Rode Dumbo the Fying Elephant and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh which showcases the happy life adventures of Pooh. You should not also miss to visit the It’s a small world attraction which shows the different cultures of so many countries including the Philippines. And if you need a little some rest, you can stretch your legs at the Fantasy Gardens.

Be sure that as you enjoy everything inside the park, pay close attention to time. Don’t ever forget the 3pm, 7pm and 9pm because this is where the characters parade, paint the night and fireworks happens. Apparently for us, we failed to see the 3pm parade because we enjoyed buying stuffs and souvenirs at the nearby shop. But as we wait for the 7pm Paint the Night show, we tend to have some snacks at the closest restaurant near the Philhar Magic, bought some light stuffs in preparation for the show. I bought mickey’s hat and a pair of mickey’s mitten. Set ourselves at the mainstreet to get a nice view for the show. It was past 8pm when the parade started. And there I caught myself mesmerized, stunned and totally amazed! The park is so beautiful at night with full lights. From the castle up to every store. It was totally a paint in the night. Of course I can’t share the video here. Must see live. After seeing the parade, you will realize that it’s really worth all the expenses going there especially when you witness the fireworks after the 20 minutes parade. There no other words to explain my experience but magical! I will surely be back here to try other parks with my family.
